KUALA LUMPUR (June 3): Orkim Bhd (KL:ORKIM) has secured the renewal of a contract to provide marine transportation services for clean petroleum products to Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd (KL:PETRONM).
In a bourse filing on Wednesday, Orkim said its wholly owned unit Orkim Marine Sdn Bhd had accepted a letter of award from Petron for the renewal of an existing contract of affreightment.
Under the contract, Orkim Marine will provide marine transportation services for clean petroleum products within the Malaysia-Singapore range from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2028.
Orkim said the contract includes an option for a further one-year extension, which is subject to mutual agreement between both parties….
