From our beginnings in shipbroking to becoming a trusted CPP and LPG marine transporter, Orkim Berhad continues to expand our fleet, strengthen partnerships, and earn industry recognition through consistent operational excellence.
Since 2007, Orkim Berhad has progressed from a shipbroking business into a trusted owner-operator of CPP and LPG tankers supporting domestic and regional energy transportation. Key milestones include fleet expansion and modernisation, strategic chartering growth, and the Group’s successful listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia in 2025.
In March 2024, the Group entered into 2 shipbuilding contracts to construct 2 new vessels, which are expected to be completed by 2027.
The Group expanded its fleet of CPP tankers in 2021 with the acquisition of the first MR product tanker, Orkim Fortitude which has a load capacity of 48,005 DWT.
Throughout 2021, the Group also took delivery of 5 newly built CPP tankers and retired 6 CPP tankers between 2021 to 2024 as part of fleet rejuvenation plan.
In 2015, the Group entered the LPG marine transportation segment by securing a contract from Nippon Gas Line Co. Ltd.
