Orkim Bhd made its market debut on the main board, opening at RM0.92 per share. In initial trades, the counter fluctuated slightly between RM0.910 and RM0.920, with around 5.44 million shares exchanged as of 9.01 am.

The transportation and logistics company’s IPO received overwhelming interest from investors, with the public portion oversubscribed nearly 12 times. A total of 6,767 applications were received for 256.8 million shares made available to the Malaysian public.

The Bumiputera allocation drew 3,430 applications for 120.1 million shares, oversubscribed by 11.01 times, while the remaining public portion recorded 3,337 applications for 136.7 million shares, oversubscribed by 12.67 times.
