KUALA LUMPUR: Initial public offerings (IPOs) on Bursa Malaysia have shown robust performance in 2025, reflecting renewed investor confidence and strong demand for new listings.
The stock exchange is projected to close the year with around 60 new listings, collectively adding market capitalisation of nearly RM30 billion to Bursa Malaysia, underscoring a healthy appetite for equity participation among both retail and institutional investors.
Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan said the performance represents a notable improvement over 2024, when the market recorded 55 listings.
