KUALA LUMPUR: Orkim Bhd made a steady but subdued debut on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia today, mirroring the cautious sentiment across the broader market.

The stock opened at its initial public offering (IPO) price of 92 sen, marking a flat start as investors remained on the sidelines while awaiting clearer signals on market direction.

At that price, the oil-and-gas shipping company – formerly wholly owned by private equity firm Ekuiti Nasional Bhd (Ekuinas) – debuted with a market capitalisation of RM920 million.
