KUALA LUMPUR: Orkim Bhd has secured a contract of affreightment from Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd (BHPetrol) to provide marine transportation services.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Orkim said its subsidiary, Orkim Marine Sdn Bhd, received the letter of award for the contract on Jan 7, 2026.

Under the contract, Orkim Marine is expected to transport an estimated 200,000 tonnes per annum, plus or minus 20 per cent, over a two-year period from Jan 1, 2026 to Dec 31, 2027.

The contract includes an option to extend for a further one year, subject to terms and conditions.

Orkim said the contract is awarded on a cargo-nomination basis, with cargo volumes to be issued at the discretion of BHPetrol in accordance with the agreed schedule of rates.
