KUALA LUMPUR: Orkim Bhd has extended its consecutive voyage charter contracts with Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and Shell Timur Sdn Bhd for another six months from Aug 16.
The contracts, undertaken by Orkim’s subsidiary Orkim Reliance Sdn Bhd, will now run until Feb 15, 2027.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, Orkim said the extensions were formalised through addendums entered into with the two charterers on Aug 13.
The contracts were initially awarded for a firm one-year period from Aug 16, 2024 to Aug 15, 2025, with options for extension.
The charterers subsequently exercised the extension option, extending the contractual term to Aug 15, 2026 (…)
