Captain Cheah Sin Bi, a 45-year-old Malaysian, is the Non-Independent Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of our Group with 25 years of maritime industry experience, including 14 years with our organisation. He holds a Bachelor of Management Technology (Maritime Transportation) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Class 1 Certificate of Competency as Master (Unlimited Voyage). He is a life member of Ikhtisas Kelautan Malaysia, an elected member of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and an associate fellow of The Nautical Institute. He also actively serves on several national and international maritime committees, such as the Shell Maritime Partners in Safety – Asia Pacific Middle East Focus Group, Malaysia Shipowners’ Association Executive Committee, Class NK Committee, Malaysia Maritime Development Board member, National Shipping and Port Council Advisory Committee, Maritime Programme Adviser for Politeknik Ungku Omar and Malaysian Maritime Law Revision and Reform Committee (MLRRC).
Captain Cheah began his career in 2000 with IMC Shipping and V-Ships on board MR Chemical Tanker handling complex chemical, petroleum, and edible oil cargoes. In 2011, he transitioned to a shore-based role with our Group as Marine Superintendent, and also served as Master on board various vessels, overseeing navigation, cargo operations, and regulatory compliance.

Dato’ Abdul Hamid Bin Sh Mohamed , a Malaysian aged 60, is our Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman. He was appointed to our Board on 2 May 2025. He completed the professional examinations of the Association of Accounting Technicians in December 1984 and the ACCA in December 1988. He has been a fellow of the ACCA since July 2003.
Dato’ Abdul Hamid began his career in May 1989 as a Corporate Services Assistant in the Insolvency Department at Lim Ali & Co., where he supported the team in managing insolvency cases. He left the firm in August 1989.
In the same month, he joined Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad (now known as Alliance Investment Bank Berhad) as a Corporate Banking Officer. He was promoted to Assistant Manager, Corporate Banking in January 1993, and to Manager, Corporate Banking in January 1994, before leaving the bank in September 1994.
In October 1994, he joined Komplek Kewangan Malaysia Berhad (subsequently known as Amanah Capital Malaysia Berhad) (“KKMB”) as Senior Manager, Corporate Planning, overseeing planning activities across the KKMB group of companies. He was promoted to Head of Corporate Services in January 1998, leading both the corporate planning and corporate finance departments until his departure in April 1998.
In May 1998, Dato’ Abdul Hamid joined the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (“KLSE”) (now known as Bursa Malaysia Berhad) as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and International Affairs. He was promoted to Deputy President, Strategy and Development in January 2002, and subsequently redesignated as Chief Financial Officer in January 2003. During his tenure, he spearheaded key strategic initiatives, including the acquisitions of the Kuala Lumpur Options and Financial Futures Exchange (KLOFFE) and the Commodity and Monetary Exchange of Malaysia (COMMEX), as well as their merger to form the Malaysian Derivatives Exchange (MDEX). He was also instrumental in the acquisition of the Malaysian Exchange of Securities Dealing and Automated Quotation (MESDAQ) and led KLSE’s demutualisation exercise. He left KLSE in November 2003.
In December 2003, he was appointed Executive Director of Symphony House Berhad (now known as Symphony House Sdn Bhd following its delisting in December 2015).
Aliff Omar Bin Mohamad Omar (“Aliff”), a Malaysian aged 40, is our Non-Independent Non-Executive Director. He was appointed to our Board on 20 July 2017.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences (Cum Laude), with a second major in Economics, from Northwestern University in June 2008. He later obtained a Master of Philosophy in Finance from the University of Cambridge in July 2009.
With over 16 years of experience in corporate advisory and deal-making, he began his career in August 2009 as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Maybank Investment Bank Berhad. In September 2010, he joined CIMB Investment Bank Berhad as an Executive in the Regional Mergers & Acquisitions (“M&A”) department, focusing on M&A transactions across Southeast Asia. He left CIMB in June 2012.
In July 2012, he joined UBS Securities Malaysia (“UBS”) as an Associate in the Country Coverage & Southeast Asia Corporate Finance Group. He was promoted to Associate Director in February 2013 and subsequently to Director in February 2016, serving in this role until his departure in July 2017. During his tenure at UBS, he led numerous M&A and capital market transactions across Malaysia and Southeast Asia, advising corporates, institutional investors, and family offices in the energy, financial institutions, infrastructure, utilities, and real estate sectors.
In July 2017, he joined Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (“Ekuinas”) as Director, Investment, and was promoted to Senior Director, Investment in April 2022, where he oversaw and managed Ekuinas’ investments in the energy, consumer, and technology sectors. He is a member of Ekuinas’ Investment Committee and Management Committee. On 23 May 2025, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Ekuinas.

In 2012, he was appointed Head of Marine Operations, followed by a promotion to General Manager of Marine, Safety and Quality in 2013, where he led navigational compliance, charterer reporting, audits, crew training, and Safety Management System (SMS) implementation. In 2015, following a corporate restructuring, he was promoted to General Manager of Fleet Management and appointed Designated Person Ashore (DPA), overseeing technical operations, procurement, classification society liaison, and safety audits across the fleet.
Captain Cheah was elevated to Chief Operating Officer in 2018, taking charge of Commercial, Fleet Personnel, Technical, Procurement, IT, Project, and Marine Safety departments. Since August 2021, as CEO, he leads the Group’s strategic direction, fiscal management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening operational reliability, promoting safety standards, and positioning our Group as a competitive force in the regional maritime sector.
Datuk Azman Bin Ismail, a Malaysian aged 62, is our Senior Independent Non-Executive Director. He was appointed to our Board on 30 June 2025. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA, in 1985.
Datuk Azman is a member of several professional institutions, including the Institution of Engineers Malaysia since 1994, the Malaysian Institute of Management since 2014, and the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia since 2023.
He has accumulated over 30 years of experience with the Shell group of companies. He began his career in June 1986 as a Conceptual Design Engineer at Sarawak Shell Berhad, contributing to offshore oil and gas production. In June 1987, he became a Refinery Technologist at the Lutong refinery in Miri, Sarawak. In July 1992, he served as Design Manager & Project Engineer, where he managed the design contract for a gas stabilisation plant in Bintulu, supported offshore construction projects, and conducted technical testing.
In October 1996, he assumed the role of Property Manager at Shell Malaysia Limited and later joined SMTSB in October 1997 as Retail Property Management Manager. There, he implemented a property database and introduced structured evaluation processes for optimising property utilisation.
From 1999 to 2003, Datuk Azman held several network leadership roles at STMSB, covering Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, where he led site evaluation, acquisition, and development. In January 2004, he became Retail National Sales and Operations Manager, leading Malaysia’s retail sales team until December 2006. In 2007, he was appointed Global Lead at the Network Real Estate Centre of Excellence of Shell Downstream Inc., where he developed acquisition procedures and led regional delivery efforts.
He returned to STMSB in 2009 as Retail National Sales and Operations Manager and was subsequently promoted to General Manager, Retail Business for Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Brunei (2010–2014), and later General Manager, Retail (Malaysia and Brunei) and Integrated Downstream Business Lead (2015–2016). He simultaneously served as Managing Director of STMSB from 2010 to 2016, driving retail growth and business transformation before departing in August 2016.
From January 2017 to December 2022, Datuk Azman was the Managing Director of PLUS Malaysia Berhad, where he led strategic planning, governance, and digital transformation initiatives. Under his leadership, PLUS became the first highway operator in Malaysia to sign the United Nations Global Compact and launched safety initiatives such as the Expressway Operation Safety Passport (EOSP).
Between June 2023 and September 2024, he served as a part-time coach at the Razak School of Government, mentoring emerging leaders in stakeholder engagement and business transformation. In October 2024, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Digital Nasional Berhad, where he currently oversees company operations, stakeholder coordination, and national-level telecommunications initiatives.
Zuhaida Binti Zulkifli, a Malaysian aged 50, is our Independent Non-Executive Director. She was appointed to our Board on 30 June 2025. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Monash University, Australia in December 1996. She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and has been a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since November 2003.
Zuhaida began her career in March 1997 as an Auditor at KPMG Malaysia and left the firm in December 1999 as a Senior Auditor.
From March 2000 to January 2022, she served within the PETRONAS group of companies, holding various key positions across multiple divisions. She began her tenure at PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (“PDB”) as an Executive, General Ledger and Taxation. In April 2003, she was promoted to Senior Executive, Joint Venture Accounting, with responsibilities focused on the company’s joint venture activities. From July 2003 to March 2005, she served as Manager, Financial Accounting, where she oversaw monthly financial reporting for the PDB group, analysed supply chain and inventory data, and supported joint venture operations.
In April 2005, she joined PETRONAS as Manager, Group Accounts & Policies, and was later promoted to Senior Manager, Accounts and Budget at PETRONAS International Corporation Ltd from July 2007 to December 2008. From January 2009 to December 2012, she was seconded to PETRONAS Australia Pty Ltd (“PAPL”) as Chief Financial Officer.
Returning to Malaysia in January 2013, she was appointed General Manager, Business Planning & Performance Reporting for the Upstream Business. From April 2016 to September 2018, she served as Senior General Manager, Commercial & Strategic Relations at Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM). In October 2018, she assumed the role of Senior General Manager, Governance & Strategic Relations at MPM.
In January 2020, she was appointed Senior General Manager, Strategy, Finance & Risk for the Downstream Business, where she was responsible for providing strategic direction to ensure the long-term sustainability of the business in alignment with PETRONAS’ vision and mission. She left PETRONAS in January 2022.
Lynette Yeow Su-Yin, a Malaysian aged 56, is our Independent Non-Executive Director. She was appointed to our Board on 30 June 2025. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom in 1992 and subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in Law from the same university in 1996. She was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and became a member of the Malaysian Bar in 1994.
She has been practising in Malaysian law firms since January 1995, specialising in corporate and securities law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. She began her career as a Legal Assistant at Messrs Lee Hishammuddin in January 1995, where she practised until April 1995. From June 1995 to November 1997, she was a Legal Assistant at Messrs Lee Choon Wan & Co. She subsequently joined Messrs Rashid & Lee as a Legal Assistant from January 1998 to November 1998. In November 1998, she joined Messrs Raslan Loong as a Legal Assistant and was promoted to Partner in January 2002. She left the firm in August 2002.
She was a Partner at Messrs Zaid Ibrahim & Co. from September 2002 to April 2011, and subsequently at Messrs Kadir Andri & Partners from May 2011 to April 2012. After a career break, she returned to Messrs Kadir Andri & Partners as a Partner from January 2014 to October 2015. In November 2015, she joined Messrs Chua Associates as a Partner and was appointed as a Consultant in April 2018, serving until her departure in December 2018. In January 2019, she joined Messrs Sanjay Mohan as a Consultant, a position she continues to hold to date.
Nasmiza Binti Ismail, a Malaysian aged 60, is our Independent Non-Executive Director. She was appointed to our Board on 30 June 2025. She graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Chemistry from the Queensland Institute of Technology, Australia in March 1987.
She has over 30 years of working experience with the PETRONAS group of companies, having held various positions across multiple divisions. She began her career in July 1987 as a Project Executive at PETRONAS.
From January 1994 to December 2001, she served as a Production Planner at Petronas Penapisan Melaka Sdn Bhd.
She rejoined PETRONAS in January 2002 and held several positions over the following years, including Executive, Refinery Planning (2002–2006); Manager, Refinery Optimisation, Oil Business (2006–2009); Senior Manager, System Optimisation (2009–2010); and Head of Enterprise Optimisation (2010–2013). During her tenure, she was actively involved in refinery planning and optimisation activities within the Oil Business Division of PETRONAS.
Subsequently, she joined PETCO, where she served as Head of Crude Oil Trading from March 2013 to December 2015, and later as Head of Petroleum Products Trading from January 2016 to November 2021. She retired from PETCO in December 2021.
